East vs West

Ok, here's a thought.

Take a second and think about the UK, USA, Russia, Germany, France, Australia, ANYWHERE in the 'Western World'. Think about the buildings, pretty aren't they? Right.

Now take another second to think about buildings in China, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong etc. A little different aren't they?

Right, here's the thing. Why is it that the culture of Asia is SO different to ours? It's just odd how all the rest of the world advanced one way while Asia branched off in a different direction.

In all honesty, I think their buildings are much better looking, not that we don't have some good looking buildings ourselves.

But it isn't just buildings. Take food for instance. Their food is very different. That's a little easier to explain, different plants grow in different parts of the world and thus their diet is largely based on rice, which is easily found there.

Just popped into my head that's all.
